35 by 35

So, it's been a few years since the last post and I am happy to say that I weigh less than when I posted less and I've had another baby.  However, I am still heavier than before I got pregnant with my second baby Addi.  I weighed about 175 lbs when I got pregnant with her and very quickly gained a lot of weight.  I weighed 223lbs when I delivered.  UGH!  It is now 2 years later and I am only down to 188.  So, I decided to make a goal and get serious about it.  I turn 35 this summer (August 12) and I would like to lose 35 lbs by my 35th birthday.  That is 2.18 lbs per week for 16 weeks.  That is do-able.  It is much less daunting when broken down into smaller increments.  I am currently registered with weight watchers which works when I am dedicated and really working at it.  I think the main thing is that I have to be motivated and dedicated to do it.  So, to start things off, I am going to need to track my food and activities, which I will be doing on my phone app and I will journal here for my frustrations, my successes, my failures, so that I can learn and hopefully recognize and change behaviors that aren't helping me.  I am sitting at work, in a new job that has a lot more down time than when I work in ICU.  On busy nights, I walk a lot, but on slow nights, I sit....a lot....That is one thing that I will try to utilize more.  I can walk the halls, walk and run stairs.  I will work out in some way 5 days a week.  I will be more active, play more with my kids, swim, etc.  I CAN DO THIS!
